Sunday Morning Worship (9.30am to about 10.30am at Emmanuel Church Centre, not the first Sunday of the month).
We found that parents wished to worship with their own children present and so this “informal” format was developed.
It provides opportunities for teaching in groups to suit each age group; this can, of course, give adults time to concentrate as well. Should parents think that their child is too young for a group or if they prefer to be together, that’s fine.
Note early finish and shortened service too!
Family and Parade Service uses modern language.
Choral Evensong at Emmanuel Church is 1662 Prayer Book.
Communion Services
We have an open table, which means that if you are a full member of any Christian church, then we would encourage you to share the sacrament with us; should this not be the case, then a simple prayer of blessing can be given.
At the Emmanuel Church, Holcombe there is a robed choir at the 11.00am services.
